Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate

Covington, KY

Preparation of financial analysis and financial models used by the Company in connection with financings, asset acquisitions and new project underwriting associated with the Company’s real estate, hospitality, sports clubs and structured finance investment and development activities. Included in this position is the preparation of financial models depicting investment structures and potential investment returns for equity investors in Corporex projects. Responsibilities will include the spreading of financial statements, preparation of financing proposals along with quarterly reporting packages, market research, lease analysis, internal rate-of-return calculations, sensitivity analysis and other ad hoc analyses used by management in its decision making.

It is expected that the Finance Associate will be able to quickly develop a working knowledge of various debt structures, perform amortization modeling and perform hybrid debt and equity alternatives evaluations. Maintaining a current catalog of debt summaries for properties owned by the Corporex Family, and the annual current valuation processes and work in respect to its real estate assets may be included in job responsibilities. It is expected that this individual will pursue training where required in order to be able to complete all responsibilities.

In addition, the Finance Associate will participate in preparing attractive marketing packages to be used in the above-referenced activities. This aspect of the job will be an important part of the responsibility. These packages and related marketing materials are aimed at securing debt and/or equity for the financing and/or refinancing of new or existing projects, marketing properties for sale or preparing property summaries for executive Board approval. This person is expected to participate in presentations, work with our customers and clients, and work directly with financing sources at times.

It is expected that the Finance Associate will assist the officers of the Company in the analyses of transactions, commercial real estate valuation, acquisitions, sales and other business activities, as well as in the identification of debt and equity sources, library building, communications and otherwise selling the Company’s projects and helping the Company in its various endeavors.

The Finance Associate will also have various responsibilities for development, including due diligence analysis and checklist, as well as work on transaction closings.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 – 5 Years Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting Preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and ARGUS Software
  • In Office Attendance / Non-Remote
  • Excellent Communication and Organization Skills
  • Sense of Urgency
  • Self-Starter with a Professional and Proactive Work Ethic
