The 134-room hotel, part of the Gallery at Kenwood, opened on 8/9

COVINGTON, Ky. (August 13, 2024) – Commonwealth Hotels, a Covington, Ky.-based hotel management company is proud to announce the opening of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Kenwood across from the Kenwood Towne Centre as part of the Gallery at Kenwood in Cincinnati.

“This exceptional new hotel gives visitors to the Cincy Region another fantastic stay option,” said Julie Calvert, president and CEO of Visit Cincy. “Its location has unparalleled access to attractions, shopping, business headquarters, medical facilities and the Sharonville Convention Center.”

The hotel is located at 7951 Kenwood Rd., Cincinnati, Oh. 45236 and offers 134 suites to guests, complete with full kitchenettes, access to a pool and fitness center, Wi-Fi, and Condado Tacos on the ground floor. A mix of king and queen rooms will be available for guests to choose from, along with pet-friendly and eco-friendly accommodations.

Corporex, a privately held investment firm located in Covington, Ky. focused on investing in real estate, hospitality, sports and fitness, and capital markets, was the developer on the project in partnership with Gallery at Kenwood developer CIG Communities, LLC, and owns the hotel. Arkinetics Inc. served as the architect on the project, while Commonwealth Hotels will assume management. Corporex leveraged a unique construction system for the hotel. Insulated concrete forms (ICFs) were used to make the structure quieter and more energy efficient.
